Caesars Palace recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of the original casino dome and lobby bar, along with the main entrance and porte-cochère.
The update also adds two new state-of-the-art gaming pits. The result of the renovations is a refresh of the iconic parts of this classic Las Vegas casino.
Sean McBurney, the Caesars Entertainment regional president, said:
“Since Caesars Palace opened its doors in 1966, we have been inspired by founder Jay Sarno’s promise to treat every guest like a Caesar. From the moment visitors arrive, we aim to deliver experiences that can only be found at our flagship resort.”
In addition to the updates on existing parts of the property, Caesars Palace will add new eateries later this year.
Caesars Palace will be the first Las Vegas location for New York City’s Peter Luger Steakhouse. The property will also add Dominique Ansel Las Vegas, Stanton Social Prime and more.
Caesars Palace dome features luxurious chandelier
The original casino under the dome at Caesars Palace received a much-needed update as part of the renovations. These changes help restore a little glory to this well-known part of the property.
A new chandelier helps bring life to a casino that has felt a bit tired for the past few years. This larger chandelier has 12,000 crystals and weighs approximately 3,200 pounds.
The crystals cost more than $1 million. In addition to being pretty, they help the energy-efficient LED lights brighten up the casino.
Fans of Caesars Palace should be happy with these updates. The iconic casino looks and feels fresh while retaining the atmosphere many have enjoyed over the years.
New Galleria Bar open 24/7, features bartop games
Caesars Palace has a beautiful new 24-hour-a-day lobby bar area as part of the renovations. The 24-seat Galleria Bar is in the Caesars Palace hotel lobby between the main entryway and the entrance to the outdoor Roman Plaza.
Some guests will visit this bar while they wait to check into their rooms. Gamblers can enjoy the 22 bartop gaming machines any time of the day.
The bartop multi-game machines feature slots, video poker and more. Video poker players should expect similar paytables to other bartop machines at Caesars Palace.
According to a statement from Caesars, the design of this bar is a “modern take on a palatial Italian study.” The bar features antique mirrors with gold accents and Italian inlaid wood murals. There are also four life-sized sculptures of Venus.
Caesars Sportsbook gets VIP seating area
Earlier this year, Caesars Palace reconfigured and refreshed its sportsbook. In addition to a new seating area, there’s new carpeting.
The Caesars Palace sportsbook will appear the same but slightly cleaner with a new VIP seating area.
Caesars, overall, has been updating the sportsbooks at multiple Las Vegas casinos throughout the year.
The Harrah’s sportsbook has new video screens and seating. The Linq removed its “Fan Caves” and now has a sports bar and betting window.
Caesars is currently transforming Bally’s into Horseshoe Las Vegas. One of the major changes was closing the sportsbook.
The sportsbook at Bally’s will become an arcade when it opens. At this time, Bally’s only has a betting desk on the main casino floor near the entrance to Paris Las Vegas.
