Hard Rock International is now operating the Mirage, which means the Nevada casino no longer participates in the MGM Rewards program.
Unity by Hard Rock rewards program is the first of many changes to the Mirage over the next three to four years.
Hard Rock matches tiers from MGM Rewards and other programs to Unity. Currently, users can match MGM Rewards Gold Status to Icon and receive bonus Unity Points at Hard Rock restaurants. The match is only through February.
Hard Rock Unity rewards program is worldwide
Unity is a worldwide rewards program that connects Hard Rock casinos, hotels, cafes and Rock Shops worldwide. No other Las Vegas casino rewards program has this many outlets where guests can earn and use Hard Rock points.

How do Unity tiers at the Mirage work?
Unity is a four-tier rewards program. Since this is an extensive program covering multiple types of venues, there are various perks and ways to earn points. Each tier of Unity at the Mirage comes with a set of benefits. Here are how many tier credits are needed to reach the different levels of Unity:
- Star: All
- Legend: 4,000-14,999
- Icon: 15,000 or higher
- X: Invite only
Each Hard Rock property offers individual benefits, and the Mirage is no different. While some new benefits exist, Unity offers a similar complimentary self-parking benefit as its predecessor.
Any tier above entry level receives complimentary self-parking. The Legend, Icon and X tiers all receive complimentary self-parking.
Hard Rock customers earn tier credits at the Mirage by spending money in the following ways:
- Playing slot machines and table games
- Dining at restaurants
- Making purchases at retail
- Reserving hotel rooms
Tier credits only help customers reach higher levels at Unity. Each tier jump comes with more benefits. Customers can earn tier points for the same spending and redeem these points at restaurants, retail outlets and hotels.

Unity tier benefits at the Mirage are similar to their corresponding levels from MGM Rewards. The Icon level is where the benefits are unlocked. As mentioned earlier, these benefits are similar to the Gold level from MGM Rewards.
