Circa Sports coming to northern Nevada

This summer, Circa Sports will expand its operations to northern Nevada.

Circa Sports’ first Nevada location outside of Las Vegas will be in Sparks inside Olympia Gaming’s brand new Legends Bay Casino.

“Legends Bay Casino will be a landmark opening for northern Nevada, and we are thrilled to partner with Olympia Gaming to introduce our brand to a new part of the state,” Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens said. “We look forward to bringing an incredible sportsbook to the property, which will complement the other dynamic offerings Legends Bay will feature when it opens this year.”

Details on the new Circa Sports location are sparse, as the casino isn’t open to the public. The sportsbook operator did share a little tease of construction underway.

The footprint of the Circa Sports location inside Legends Bay Casino appears to be substantial in size but not massive. Circa Sports has operations of all sizes, including the “world’s largest sportsbook” location at Circa Resort in downtown Las Vegas.

Garry Goett, Chairman, CEO and President of Olympia Companies, said:

“This gives us a one-of-a-kind sports wagering offering, and creates the premier sportsbook destination in northern Nevada.”

Indeed it does. Circa Sports offers both a combination of retail and mobile betting experiences that are unlike any other northern Nevada casino.

This will instantly become the go-to destination for sports bettors looking for fair betting odds and a player-friendly retail environment. Legends Bay Casino will be the easiest point of access for sports bettors in northern Nevada to sign up for a Circa Sports’ mobile app.

Previously, residents in northern Nevada had to make a trip south to Las Vegas to sign up for this Nevada sportsbook app.

Circa Sports Las Vegas

Circa Sports is the brainchild of casino operator Derek Stevens. The first Circa Sports location opened in Las Vegas at Golden Gate Casino in June of 2019.

The Golden Gate location is more of a betting counter than a sit-down sportsbook to watch the games. This was a way to get Circa Sports operations running as plans for more locations were already in the works.

In 2019, Circa Sports started operations using the old tiny sportsbook at another Stevens’ property in downtown Las Vegas, The D. After renovating the second floor of the casino, Circa Sports moved to its current location adjacent to Bar Canada at The D in June 2020.

The grandiose flagship location was unveiled to the public in late October 2020 when the casino floor opened at Circa Resort in downtown Las Vegas.

Guests at Circa can also place wagers in the casino at the satellite desk on the second floor and at a kiosk outside at the Stadium Swim rooftop pool complex.

Since the openings at the various Stevens-owned casinos, Circa Sports started branching elsewhere in southern Nevada. Circa Sports also has southern Nevada locations at Tuscany Suites & Casino just off the Vegas Strip and Pass Casino in Henderson.
