Circa Sports introduces Circa Sports Million II and Circa Survivor contest. The second edition of the pro football handicapping contest will have $3 million in prizes guaranteed. The inaugural pro football survivor contest will pay $1 million to the winner. Both contests could have larger prize pools if there are entries beyond the break-even point for entries (3,000 for Circa Sports Million and 1,000 for Circa Survivor).
Circa Sports Million
The 2020 Circa Sports Million will be similar to the first edition of the contest with even more prize money available to more players. Once again, Circa Sports Millions is a traditional pro football handicapping contest.
How to play Circa Sports Million
Participants will pick five NFL games against the posted point spread each week. Point spreads for each game will be posted every Thursday at around 10 a.m. The deadline to submit picks is 3 p.m. PT each Saturday.
Entering Circa Sports Million
The entry fee for Circa Sports Million is $1,000 with a limit of three (3) per person. Signups must take place in person at a retail Circa Sports location at Golden Gate Casino or The D in downtown Las Vegas.
Weekly picks may only be submitted while inside of Nevada. However, participants do not have to be Nevada residents. A proxy service may be hired to place picks every week.
Submitting weekly picks
Picks may be made in person or from the “contest” section on the Circa Sports mobile app. In-person entries may take place at a Circa Sports betting counter or at a kiosk in either brick and mortar casino. Out of state contestants may hire a proxy service to place weekly picks from inside the state.
Quarterly MVP prizes
Circa Sports Millions expanded its quarterly prize pool. Instead of paying the top finisher(s) each quarter, the contest will pay the top three (3) finishers each quarter. The prizes will be awarded to the players with the most correct picks/points during the following weekly periods:
- 1-4
- 5-8
- 9-12
- 13-17
Circa Sports Million needs 3,000 entries to reach a break-even point. Since there’s no rake or administration fee, any additional entry fees for Circa Sports Millions will be paid to entrants. Circa Sports will allot any overage to Quarterly MVP winners. The prizes are as follows:
- 1st place: $150,000+
- 2nd place: $75,000+
- 3rd place: $25,000+

The participant with the worst record will take home a $100,000 “Booby Prize.” The requirement for this prize is that the contestant must submit picks every week.
The remainder of the money will be divided up among the rest of the Top 50 Circa Sports Million finishers. Here’s the rest of the Top 10 Circa Sports Million prizes:

Circa Survivor Contest
This year Circa Sports is debuting a survivor contest called Circa Survivor. The entry fee for Circa Survivor is $1,000. Each person may enter five times. The winner-take-all prize is $1 million. There’s no rake or administration fee for the Circa Survivor contest. All entry fees will go into the prize poo so if there is more than $1 million in fees, the winner will receive all of the money. In addition, Circa Sports will pay the winner another $1 million prize if they finish the season with a perfect 18-0 record.
Entering Circa Survivor
The entry fee is $1,000 and each person may have five (5) entries. Similar to the Circa Sports Million, all contestants must sign up for Circa Survivor in person at a retail Circa Sports location at Golden Gate Casino or The D Las Vegas. All weekly entries must be made inside the state of Nevada. Out of state contestants may hire a proxy to submit weekly picks.
Playing Circa Survivor
The Circa Survivor contest format is similar to other survivor contests with a unique twist. Much like other survivor leagues, contestants will make one straight-up (no spread) pick each week. The same team can only be used once.
The big difference in this league is the number of weeks played. Circa Survivor requires 18 weeks to make picks. Picks must be made each of the 17 regular season weeks. The 18th week is encompassed of only the three games on Thanksgiving Day.
The full contest rules can be found at Circa Sports.
